The Lakeside Heritage Society, Inc., founded in 1968, is a non-profit organization dedicated to collecting, preserving and exhibiting the history of Lakeside Chautauqua and the Marblehead Peninsula. The society’s museum, archives and educational programs are supported through membership dues, donations and proceeds from annual benefit sales, books and special projects.

The Heritage Hall Museum, located at 238 Maple Ave., on the corner of Maple Avenue and Third Street, is open during the Chautauqua season beginning Wednesday, July 1. (The late opening is due to museum renovation).

Each Chautauqua season, the Lakeside Heritage Society offers programming including Sunday lectures, historic tours and Chautauqua Movement seminars.
