About

Island View is a welcoming subdivision outside the East gate of Lakeside founded in 1954. The subdivision is within the Village of Marblehead, but is also associated with Lakeside. The community is served by both for security, fire, and EMS. Residents pay Ottawa County real estate taxes, and residents are assessed quarterly by Lakeside for the services that they provide. The Island View Property Owners Committee (IVPOC) has been recognized by Lakeside as representing and managing their interests.
